Below are the key areas that our association is dedicated towards delivering on. Have a read, if you know the issues, scroll down and hit the survey. If your fresh to this then take the time to understand the progression we are driving for you as member of the Mountain Sports Collective.

ISSUE NUMBER 1
Sustainable delivery of the service

To facilitate the ongoing sustainability of the 'Alpine Travel Advisory' we are offering memberships. We have detailed more about what we are doing now, in the immediate short term, and our master plan here. Read it and let us know how much you would be prepared to pay to help support the program.

PAYING IT FORWARD FOR 2018

Safety Initiatives

Obviously the Travel Advisory is a great leap forward. We also see areas for improvements in training, sharing of information and some really basic 'shared assets'. Supported through an Australian Standard for Alpine Safety. It's delivery in training and resources to support it.

Find out about what the standard would cover

ACCESS INITIATIVES

There are is also a bunch of access initiatives that we plan to advocate for the mountain sports community. There is some detail on these here. We will need you to tell us which initiative you feel is the biggest priority for 2018. This will form the 'off season' capability to the delivery of the 'Travel Advisory'

Check out the initiatives & Contribute

CONSERVATION INITIATIVES

There are quite a few issues facing the mountains, the environment at large is a big one. We have some simple solutions to basic problems. Like efficient heating and responsible fuel collection for huts. Poo Tubes... yes, we need to talk about your poop. Looming development plans.
