As a not-for-profit association, every new and renewing MSC member fee helps keep observation and forecasting teams in the Victoria and New South Wales mountains, so thank you for your support!
When you sign up through the membership drive period, you receive benefits like an on-demand member-pack, 35% off MSC merchandise, discounts to MSC events, exclusive access to MSC maps and discounts from key sponsors.

Rush Jacket Men's is a light, durable shell jacket designed for ski and snowboard touring, built as a light, durable backcountry shell that supports efficient ascents and dependable protection for the descent.
With lighter GORE-TEX PRO ePE fabric that offers the same high-level durability you depend on in the backcountry, the updated Rush Jacket emphasises efficiency for the ascent without sacrificing comfort—or the performance you demand for the descent. A new fit allows easier access to additional zippered pockets and uses less fabric, making it simpler to transition and head back up for another lap.
The Burton Family Tree Time Thief should be your first option when looking at a snowboard that excels in big mountain terrain.
Designed to balance confidence and creativity across even the biggest mountains, the larger sidecut radius and forgiving torsional flex make it quick and responsive when rushing down the mountain, yet mellow and forgiving when cruising as slower speeds. From mellow laps to the biggest lines the Time Thief is a freeride focused board that takes control on any natural feature in its way.
Built for spirited, big mountain, backcountry skiing, the Backland 109 offers better float and more touring efficiency in a light weight, lower-impact construction. FreeTour Profile uses more poplar wood, less metal, less fiberglass and resin to create a more harmonious flex pattern for lively performance. The 109mm waist combined with a lightweight HRZN 3D tip produces more float in deep snow and a full ash wood inlay provides added security under the binding. A poplar and caruba Ultra Light Woodcore offers the ideal balance of low weight and optimum performance. Powder Rocker delivers a pronounced tip and tail with camber underfoot for effortless, playful maneuverability in powder, crud, and chop.
By utilising more lower-carbon raw materials, the design reduces environmental waste and cuts CO2 equivalent emissions by 26% (compared with the Backland 100, 2022). Inspired by Chris Rubens, it’s the ideal balance of performance and weight that makes this the ultimate freeride touring ski.
With exceptional coverage and additional eye shields, the Devour Glacial sunglasses give extra protection in the very brightest conditions.
The sunglasses feature fully adjustable temples and nose piece, making it easy to find a secure fit for every head shape. You'll see clearly in every direction thanks to a frame design that maximises peripheral vision.
Clarity lens technology controls the colour spectrum and is fine-tuned for use on snow and in brighter environments, all while giving complete UV protection (UV400). A Ri-Pel lens treatment protects from dirt, oil and water, and an anti-scratch coating ensures your vision is always at its best.
Lenses are easy to swap, and a spare clear lens is included, making the sunglasses ideal for use in a wide variety of conditions.
