MSC Membership Drive 2024
Mountain Safety Collective (MSC) relies in large part on our public membership program to sustain our professional backcountry conditions reports and related initiatives for Australian backcountry users. As a not-for-profit association, every new and renewing MSC member fee helps keep observation and forecasting teams in the Victoria and New South Wales mountains.
When you sign up through the membership drive period, you receive benefits like an on-demand member-pack, 35% off MSC merchandise, exclusive access to MSC maps and guides and occasional discounts from key sponsors.
New and existing MSC members go into the draw for weekly prizes from our generous supporters with winners drawn throughout the membership drive from May 13 - June 10.
In addition, for the first, time this year you can buy raffle tickets for premium prizes to boost your chance of winning the prize you really want!

MSC Membership Drive Terms & Conditions
Mountain Safety Collective Inc is a Victorian incorporated association and the prize giveaways comply with Victorian state legislation.
To be eligible for weekly prizes, participants need to be existing or new MSC members by 5pm AEST on Sunday in the week of each prize draw.
Winners are selected at random from the MSC membership database and eligible to win one of the weekly prizes across all weeks of the membership drive. Winners will be notified via email and their names will be published on this page. If a prize is not claimed or the winner is uncontactable within seven days, a new winner will be drawn at random and re-announced. Please double check that your MSC member email details are correct by logging in to your account.
Raffle tickets for premium prizes are only drawn against tickets purchased for the same prize. Any prizes not bid on will go into a general draw for all members.
Prizes will be distributed after 11 June 2023. Winners must be active 2024 MSC Members at this date for prizes to be awarded.
Prizes are not exchangeable for an alternative prize or cash value, but can be re-gifted at a winner’s discretion.
Thredbo Backcountry Tours and Whiteroom avalanche awareness courses take place in NSW and Survive First Aid course in VIC during 2024.
Existing Wild Magazine and Adventure+ subscribers win an additional year’s magazine subscription if selected during the draw.
MSC committee members, paid contractors and ambassadors are not eligible to win prizes during the membership drive.
