CENTRAL EAST VIC:
RECENT OBSERVATIONS
Updated: 27TH / SEPTEMBER /2018

REPORT CONFIDENCE: STRONG
CURRENT UNTIL: 3RD / OCTOBER / 2018

OBSERVATION SUMMARY

TREND: IMPROVING / ONGOING / DETERIORATING

Front Range: Buller / Stirling / BUFFALO

Plenty of snow out and about. Patchy on the north aspects and ridges. There’s been a few observations in that indicate a persistent weak layer at 20-30cm. This isn’t a problem at the moment with the cooler temps, however with warming on solar aspects there is the potential for skier/rider wet slabs occurring on that layer, and loose wet slides above.
