Backcountry Conditions Reports
If you’re planning a backcountry hiking trip in summer, please remember to fill in a Trip Intention Form for New South Wales or Victoria and carry a Personal Locator Beacon. Conditions can still change rapidly in the mountains throughout spring, summer and autumn, so make sure you check the alpine weather forecasts for NSW or Victoria and carry safety gear and clothing appropriate to the conditions.
